How lame is the Vdub scene right now? I remember the days when multiple events were planned so close together during the summers that clubs were getting into fights about who planned what first and all sorts of drama. Now you can't find anything to do to save your ass.
Therefore, I believe we should plan something to be announced at the Markham Park meet. Perhaps a Cruise to the Keys for the early fall (when it gets a little cooler)?? Perhaps some other sort of cruise to a cool BBQ spot with a photoshoot attached??
Let's take the lead in South Florida and start to plan some events and fill the void. I'm sure we will have the attendance and support of Dubbers, Inc. if we do it right. That alone puts us at 25+ cars total.
What do you guys think???

I love the idea. BTW I think that the reason why all these BBQ have been slowing down is because of the economy & so many jobs doing layoffs.

It doesn't take much to drive out to one BBQ a month for super cheap, if not free food. The economy doesn't figure into it. I think people r just lazy.
